Overview

Where's It App? is a personal inventory app designed to help you remember where your belongings are stored. Your data belongs to you. We collect as little information as possible to make the app work.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Places you create (for example: Garage, Closet)
• Items you add, including optional:
  • Photos
  • Names
  • Descriptions
  • Locations
  • Values
  • Notes

Automatically collected

• Anonymous usage data required for app stability and crash reporting
• Subscription status (managed by Apple)

We do not require account creation.

Photos and AI Assistance

If you choose to add a photo:

• The photo may be processed temporarily to help suggest an item name, description, or value.
• Photos are not used to identify you.
• Photos are not used for advertising.
• Photos are not stored or reused for training outside of providing this feature.

AI assistance is optional and assistive only. You remain in control of all item details.

How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used only to:

• Display your inventory inside the app
• Enable search and organization
• Generate exports you request (PDF or CSV)

Data Storage

• Your inventory data is stored locally on your device.
• If iCloud is enabled on your device, Apple may back up your data according to your iCloud settings.
• We do not operate our own user database.

Subscriptions

All payments and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not store payment information.

Your Choices

You can:

• Edit or delete any item at any time
• Export your inventory
• Delete the app to remove all locally stored data

Children's Privacy

Where's It App? is not intended for children under 13.
